This enclosure is designed with millipedes in mind .

Suitable for housing millipedes species that grow to 10-12 cm approximately as adults . Housing a communal group up to 6 .

Millipedes need deep moist high grade substrate. So this set up is designed around a large 24 litre vented enclosure.

This set up includes all the following .

A large 25 litre deep enclosure with a lid 25L Capacity: H 25.5cm x L 42.5cm x W 33cm

2 large vents each end to provide air . Vents measure 6cm in diameter and come with a fine mesh.

1. 5.0  litres Woodpigs Forest floor substrate with enrichments and extra leaf litter and wood.

2x 2.5 litre bag.

As well as high quality soil 3 different types wood are included in this set up .

2. White rot hard wood.

White rot hard wood is an essential for most arthropods. Rotted to expose the cellulose making it rich in biocompounds. 1 bag 14cm x 10 cm

3. Woodland mulch . A bag high quality wood mulch. Add to you substrate or floor to decompose in to a much need food source. 1 bag 14cm x 10 cm

4 . Composted wood . Again more wood source for your millipedes .

5. Oak leaves. These will make a great floor to your set up and decompose over time . This will add more nutrients to your soil . 1.5 litre bag

6. Crushed leaf litter . This will add even more leaves to your set up in small pieces to decompose faster .

7. High quality fully sterilized Moss. This helps to control humidity levels. 1 x 1.5 litre bag

8. 3 pieces Dry white rotted oak sticks coverd in lichen. This is an amazing product for your millipedes . Hard wood oak, Rotted to expose the cellulose making it rich in biocompounds. Then covered in lichens (mixed species) is a massive health booster and a favourite food.

9. Cuttle fish, This gives the necessary calcium to grow strong and healthy 1 x piece.

10. Yeast flakes . Yeast fakes are a great source protein and vitamin B . 1 small bag 4cm x 6cm

11. Bee pollen

Bee pollen. Loaded with nautral Amino acids, Proteins, antioxidant and fats . Little lump’s of golden greatness for millipedes. 1 small bag 4cm x 6cm

12 . Woodpigs uk bug grub . 1 small bag 4 cm x 6 cm

WoodPigs Bug grub is in high protein, calcium and makes a great all round food supplement. Wood pigs have found reproduction boosted by this magic mix.

13 . A seeds and pods scatter bag . This will add decoration to your enclosure and also hiding places. As it decomposes it will add nutrients.

Include in bag are 2 lotus heads , 5 acorn cups , 5 casuarina heads. 5 Bakuli Pod

14. 2 feeding bowls . 1 x small ramped and one longer .

These are to keep foods and proteins away from soil so you can easily removed before mould issues .
