Shipping Policy

 Woodpigs will ensure your order is dispatched within your shipping time frame and packed to the highest standards. This will ensure your orders dispatched in the safest\highest condition possible. Please read the information below it outlines Wood pigs shipping practices and policy.  

Dispatch Time frame

  • Orders are dispatched every Monday/Tuesday .

  • To qualify for this dispatch time frame. Orders must be placed by 1:00 PM on Sunday to be dispatched the following Monday/Tuesday.

  • Orders placed after this  strict cut-off will be dispatched the following Dispatch window.

  • Some orders at Woodpigs are hand assembled to order and take time. If this is the case you will be informed .This can cause some orders delays.

Wood pigs only ship UK only!

  • Orders to other locations will be refunded and cancelled.

  • Live goods can not be shipped to Northern Ireland.

 

Shipping fulfilment methods 

  • Woodpigs only ship via Royal mail .

  • Shipping methods : Royal mail 24hr tracked and Royal mail 1pm Special Delivery are both used for Live goods. The delivery method is chosen depending on the shipping season (winter or summer) and items value.

  • In winter shipping season all Live goods will be sent  Royal mail 1pm Special Delivery with purchased 40Hr heat pack.

  • Standard delivery  for dry goods is Royal mail 48hr tracked .

Delivery Delays

Wood pigs will ensure prompt dispatch, delays can occur due to:

  • Adverse weather conditions

  • Royal mail  service disruptions

  • Your shipment traveling within the Royal mail system 

  • Industrial action.

  • Domestic and international crisis ​

  • Woodpigs are not liable or able to control the above. Woodpigs will support the Delivery as much as possible.

Extreme Temperatures .

​If temperatures are extreme and a factor at the shipping fulfilment window. The live animals will be delayed until such time is safe for live shipping. This is at Wood pigs sole discretion. You will be updated and informed at all times.

Dead on Arrival  Policy

All Woodpigs Live goods are shipped to the highest standards using the best 

delivery methods for the item.

If unfortunately your order is Dead on Arrival then please follow the instructions below.

To qualify for a replacement :

  • You must submit  photo or video evidence of deceased live goods.

  • Photo video  must be sent within 1 hour of the  first recorded delivery time

  • Send your information to woodpigsuk@gmail.com and include you order number and name.

All claims will be considered, but replacements will be at Wood pigs discretion.

Fulfilment Delays 

The website will and can be on paused shipping fulfilment in holiday periods. Including national holidays, bank holidays and holidays taken by Woodpigs.This will delay shipping dispatch you will be informed at all times.
